Juliana Zamudio Bayer has worked in the field of social work and early childhood education, has provided therapeutic consultations and conscious movement events for over 10 years. She has arrived at the therapeutic somatic integration work from a personal inquiry about how to combine therapy and the body-innate wisdom for healing and restoring.
Her desire to have a solid therapeutic framework led her to gain a Masters in social work and gain internships and work experience in multiple settings such as prisons, immigration centers, government and non-government agencies working with disadvantaged communities, non-indigenous people and Aboriginal communities in Australia.
Her work in case-management, advocacy, and therapeutic work highlighted the importance of combining cognitive and behavioural-based therapy with other forms of modalities such as a somatic, principles of internal family system, inner-relationship focusing, attachment and bio-psycho-social approaches to access a deep sense of inner wisdom for long-lasting transformation.
Juliana was born in Colombia and has lived in 4 countries for about 18 years, having gained multiple lived experiences since a young age, Juliana combines her academic knowledge with her lived experience to provide intangible skills such as presence, the use of Self and emotional growth that only lived experiences can provide.
