Somatic Stress Release Sessions

These sessions focus on re-establishing our innate capacity to transform in the face of life challenges or ‘stressors’ such as work, family situations, relationships, physical discomfort, life-transitional phases, trauma-related stress and other internal and external stressors. They provide a space to process the specific stressor that is present in your life from a somatic approach. These sessions take place by focusing on your specific needs and how your experience stress in your life so you can release accumulated stress in a way that is unique to you.
They take into consideration biological aspects like your nervous system, adaptive mechanisms, self-regulation and co-regulation strategies among others.
They provide restoration, emotional transformation and embody resilience. This modality is designed to increase emotional capacity, and integration re-establishing a sense of wholeness, a sense of adaptability and a greater sense of clarity and flow in your life.

Somatic Attachment Therapy Sessions

Attachment is our innate need to feel connected, to bond with ourselves, with others (in relationships with partners, parents, children, etc) and the environment (nature, home, etc). When there is an ‘interruption’ in this bond (often in early childhood) we experience different forms of insecure attachments that we often carry into adulthood. The insecure types of bonding often become evident in the adult relationship dynamics when we primarily feel anxious, abandoned, rejected or avoidant, armored, confused and/or overwhelmed.
Many ‘talk modalities’ aim at addressing this disconnection, however, whilst talking about it addresses some aspects of the person, other important aspects remain unaddressed. The ‘somatic aspect’ of somatic attachment therapy aims at re-connecting and returning to secure attachment from an experiential and felt-sense approach. These sessions are for single adults, people in a relationship and also for parents who would like to consciously build a secure bond with their children. When children can embody secure attachment they have the best chances of growing to become adults who are emotionally healthy, able to experience adversity as an opportunity, have fulfilment in their relationships, professional life and have great physical health.

Bio-psycho-social Strategies Sessions

These sessions aim to increase a greater sense of well-being and support you to achieve your specific goals. We look at how all the different aspects of your life (biological, psychological and social) are impacting you. Then we identify, plan and execute actions towards your individual goals. Goals might involve emotional balance, career-related goals, relationship goals, parental goals, etc.
I use some of these modalities in this type of session to help achieve your goals:

Interpersonal therapy techniques

Conscious Movement Events

This is an event that aligns your physical sense with your internal experience. Using sounds, lights, visuals, movement and reflection we embark together on an event of movement that reminds us and re-connects us with our innate joy, innocence, capacity to love, create and transform.
